Zwitterionic detergent. Higher solubilty than CHAPS. Solubilizes membrane proteins in their native state. Solubilizes opiate receptor to a state exhibiting reversible binding of opiates. Purity > 99% by TLC. Conductivity < 50 micromhos in 10% solution.
