SULFO NHS BIOTIN(Biotinylation Reagent) B102 Sulfosuccinimidobiotin[ 119616-38-5 ] f.w.: 443.4 daltons |
Sulfo NHS Biotin is a short chain, water soluble biotinylation reagent for labeling antibodies, proteins and other molecules that have primary amines. The reagent biotinylates only surface proteins of whole cells because the negatively charged reagent does not permeate cell membranes. Sulfo NHS biotin is soluble in water. The charge of the sulfo NHS sodium salt increases the water solubility.
